Joy Allen, CRNP, MSN

Joy is a certified nurse practitioner and provides care to patients of all ages in all areas of medicine including acute care, treatment of chronic medical conditions, preventive care, wellness examinations and women’s health.

Joy received her Bachelor of Nursing Degree at Auburn University in 1999. She went on to work as a staff nurse for Huntsville Hospital and Cherokee Medical Center before becoming a nursing instructor at Gadsden State Community College of Nursing. She then received her MSN degree at UAB School of Nursing; graduating in 2019 with the distinction of summa cum laude in the family nurse practitioner program. She completed her Masters while simultaneously gaining experience as a staff nurse in the Cardiac unit of Riverview Regional Medical Center. She is currently a certified nurse practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Joy’s expertise is evident through the compassionate and detail oriented care that she shows to all of her patients here at Perry Medical Clinic.
